Sunday 4th May – Wednesday 7th May 2025, 9am – 8pm. (5pm on the final day). <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ceredigion Art & Craft Trail<\/strong> was formed to raise the profile of artists and craftspeople in Ceredigion, which it does through their\u00a0website<\/a>\u00a0and through a number of exhibition-sales throughout the year. The first in 2025 will be over the Spring Bank Holiday. I shall be there for some of the time and my books will be available at the desk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

U3A Poetry Group – Reading and Talk, The Arts Centre, Aberystwyth<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday 8 November 2023, 13:30 – 15:30<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I shall talk about my poems, and my writing in general accompanied by reading from Mostly Welsh, Book of the Spirit<\/em> and Lost Time<\/em> following a theme through poems in these collections and to be found in my fiction as well. So poetry reading will be interspersed with short pieces from The Dark Trilogy<\/em> and When I Am Not Writing Poetry<\/em>. We shall begin with the long poem, Retrospective from Mostly Welsh<\/em> which also forms the backbone of the Trilogy<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Group will be able to read Retrospective<\/a> (pdf) before the discussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ceredigion Art & Craft Trail<\/strong> was formed to raise the profile of artists and craftspeople in Ceredigion, which it does through their website<\/a> and through a number of exhibition-sales throughout the year. The next is advertised on Facebook<\/a> as a fantastic opportunity to buy unique, locally-made Christmas presents direct from the artists and makers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Come along on Saturday <\/strong>and meet the author… I shall be there!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Friday 18th November – 7 pm. <\/em><\/strong>To mark the beginning of an exhibition by members of the Ceredigion Art & Craft Trail<\/a> set up by the library to celebrate the appearance of the Welsh team in the World Cup football tournament. Nice to meet some of you at the launch of the show!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition will be open during library open hours for the next few weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sample copies of both Mostly Welsh<\/em> and The Dark Trilogy<\/em> are available for inspection (as well as free bookmarks and flyers!). E-mail if you like what you see and wish to buy a copy at the slightly reduced exhibition price and I’ll arrange to get a copy to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
