I suppose that I came to see in this venture a similarity with other paeans, other celebrations, perhaps even with older devotional traditions. Eventually, that comparison shaped both the language and the structure. Perhaps inevitably, many of the poems merge the secular with the theistic, the language borrows from religions and there are references drawn from religious works. These notes may help with an understanding of sources and references.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Braiding Brexit<\/em><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>One of our earliest publications &#8211; <em>Braiding Brexit: A Lemming&#8217;s-eye View<\/em> has always been freely available from the remote e-book site on which it first appeared. A PDF file can be downloaded here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Braiding Brexit <\/em>brings together a number of my poems that were written &#8211; often in some frustration &#8211; during the initial Brexit negotiating process.
